I've been writing freelance since 1995 or so. In the beginning I mainly did reviews of records, but later I started writing indepth feature stories about how artists and producers make and produce their music, for various publications.

My aim is usually to write the definitive interview with the artists - a text that portrays them and their motivations fully, and that you shouldn't need to read any other interviews with them in order to understand their creative work.

So far I've interviewed 240 artists or producers, and currently I'm writing mainly for music publications in Norway about various Norwegian artists that are releasing albums.

Most of the articles and radio shows linked to below are in Norwegian, whilst the radio shows with foreign guests are in English.
